Halley and Cullen were married at our favorite place, Rock Lake Ranch. Beneath the large oak trees and brilliant Texas sun, they met and married among family and close friends. I hope you enjoy watching their beautiful day unfold below through their wedding portraits.
The bride wore a new pair of Old Gringo boots, LOVE! It was perfect for a ranch wedding in Texas.

The very special bridal bouquet, which will probably now become a family heirloom. The whole piece was from her grandmother's collection of pins and broaches. The photo on the left is Halley and her grandmother holding the bouquet together. Such a sweet a memorable touch to the wedding.

In case you were wondering, yes, the wedding party was this fun all day long. Halley and Cullen have a great bunch of friends.

How cute would the two portraits of Halley and Cullen look framed next to each other? Both lounging in the Texas sun.

Also, get ready for a Halley love fest, because I just couldn't eliminate any of these from the post!

Love the look in Halley's eyes...

Stay tuned for more reception dance party fun.

Round two for Karissa and Adam, the reception!
I thought that this was a brilliant idea, to attach your new address to the bubbles for your guests.

There's that smile I was talking about.

And then they were off!

There was of course a little confetti surprise in their car waiting for them. Made for some cute pictures.

The Oreo dunk. Adam had a plate full of oreos and these quite delicious oreos balls, like the ever popular cake balls. So yummy!

Aggie Traditions.

Did you know that you can get married on campus? I had no idea, and it can be beautiful! Adam and Karissa were married just a few weeks ago right on the steps of the administration building. For two die hard Aggies, there could be no better place to say "I love you forever."
I for one, had never been to this part of campus, I know, I know, I only married in to the Aggie world, so I am not well acquainted with all of the traditions and special landmarks. Their day was full of stunning classic architecture, beautiful weather, close family, and two sweet lovebirds. Enjoy Part I, of Adam and Karissa's Wedding day.
Karissa's two most important pieces of jewelery.

Isn't she gorgeous?! Her eyes were bouncing light all over the place, and a smile that ignites the room.

Adam looked boss in his CK suit. Take notes, gentlemen, how a suit fits matters.

I so appreciate the sentiment behind a couple still wanting to wait to see each other until the ceremony. But I feel like it is really worth it, when I see the groom's face so undone by his bride, like Adam's here.

Get ready for the sun-bursty (yeah, we make up words all the time around here) love shot.

Sorry, I couldn't stop at just one of those portraits!

To the very happy couple, more to come soon!

You may remember Andrew and Allie from their engagement session last February. We, of course, spend a lot of time with many couples who are enamored with each other. This time usually is a mixed bag of emotions for Kristen and I. On some level, there comes a pressure to do a good job, as this is our business and we hope to produce quality. But most days that pressure is overwhelmed by the love of what we do and who we do business with. Allie + Andrew brought a new energy to our business that I, for one, wasn't expecting. Through their sincerity, genuineness and simplicity in love, Allie and Andrew inspired. Beyond the beauty of the wedding (dresses, flowers, music, etc....), the real story was in how Andrew approached his new bride. I've seen guys nervous, excited, questionably tipsy, and otherwise as they wait to get married. Andrew was a rock. It felt like he had already walked the aisle from the minute he pulled up. I would even bet Andrew already thought of himself as a husband before showing up to the chapel. Solid.
And Allie, well, she was gorgeous. I'm rarely ever in the bridal room, but from what I hear, they were having a great time getting Allie ready for her man. She had several hundred ladies waiting on her at any given moment. Each of them a true friend. Both Andrew and Allie were surrounded by such a fun group of close people in their loves, they were completely silly (see group photos below) and totally sincere. The wedding, at Brookwood Community Center, was filled with thoughtful details like special gifts exchanged between the two of them, their vows, and treasured speeches at the reception. We unfortunately cannot show you every detail from their day here on the blog, but hope that you feel some sense of being at Andrew and Allie's big day, even now.

Dance Party Reception Extravaganza to come soon!
